Scaffolding for the Soul explores that idea through sound, symbolism, and cymatic-inspired form. Not as a promise that a frequency can repair or restore us, but as an invitation to consider the structures we create while healing, adapting, and becoming something new.
Rebuilding doesn't always mean returning to what existed before.
Sometimes it means discovering what deserves to stand next.
The Story
Scaffolding isn't the finished structure.
It exists because something is being built.
There are seasons of life when we find ourselves surrounded by temporary supports: new boundaries, unfamiliar routines, different relationships, quieter spaces, or ways of living that don't yet feel completely natural.
They may not be permanent.
But they can give us somewhere to stand while we rebuild.
Scaffolding for the Soul was created around that in-between place.
Inspired by the resonance associated with 285Hz, the piece explores restoration not as returning to an untouched version of ourselves, but as participating in our own reconstruction.
Some pieces may return.
Others may be redesigned entirely.
And perhaps becoming whole isn't about rebuilding the old structure perfectly.
Perhaps it's about deciding, deliberately, what belongs in the new one.
The Artwork
At the center of Scaffolding for the Soul is an intricate organic structure inspired by cymatics, where sound and vibration can create visible patterns within physical matter.
A softly illuminated central form expands outward through repeating layers of mint, cream, pale peach, and translucent green. The surrounding structures fold, stretch, and interconnect, creating something that feels simultaneously botanical, biological, and architectural.
Some forms resemble petals or cellular membranes. Others appear almost structural, like supports growing outward from the center.
That tension between the organic and constructed became central to the artwork: something alive rebuilding itself through pattern, repetition, and connection.
Turquoise typography and waveform elements frame the composition, connecting its visual language directly to the 285Hz inspiration.
The T-shirt carries the larger Scaffolding for the Soul composition across the back, “Scaffolding for the Soul / 285Hz” at the left chest, and the Resonance Collection's three listening symbols along the sleeve: an ear, headphones, and musical note, each joined by a waveform in the matching turquoise accent.

I created Scaffolding for the Soul around the idea that rebuilding can look unfinished for a long time.
We celebrate transformations once they're complete.
We don't talk nearly as much about the strange middle.
The temporary supports.
The uncertain decisions.
The things we try that don't stay.
The new pieces that haven't quite learned how to belong together yet.
285Hz became the starting point for exploring restoration through that lens.
I don't think everything that breaks needs to be rebuilt exactly as it was.
Sometimes the most important part of reconstruction is realizing that you have permission to change the design.
Keep what still supports you.
Reinforce what matters.
Remove what no longer belongs.
And let some things remain unfinished while you figure out what you're building.
The scaffolding isn't evidence that you're incomplete.
It means construction is underway.
